Factoring: Math Strategy

Factoring

This week for numeracy I am doing factoring, I have created a slide and it has an explanation of factors and a quiz!

I feel confident with factoring and I rate myself a 2 out of 3 in factoring

I made the quiz with google slides and I got the learning outcome from the Te Ara Takitini site.

Have you done factoring before?

This is one of my favourite blog posts. I love the way you have shared your learning and how you created an interactive and engaging digital learning tool. I clicked on an incorrect answer, deliberately of course, so I could see what you had written for when the wrong answer was clicked and loved the Oof! Try again.
I also like how you have been attentive of the blog post rubric we have been using and have included where you got your information from etc.

  2. Hi Kareem. I am impressed with how you are now using your knowledge to help others. Hopefully your classmates might watch this and be able to apply the strategy. What is your favourite part of maths?

  5. Hi Kareem this is a super slide with a really cool quiz. I can see how easily anybody who reads this post will learn how to do factoring and will find it fun. Your explanation is very clear and the quiz is a good way to check your understanding. I have done factoring before but your post is a great reminder for me too! Have you tried getting any of your friends to complete your quiz?
